Tasmania has deep basketball talent. But for too long, the pathway forward has been limited. We've all seen the pattern: high-level players drop out, leave the state, or slip through the cracks.
Built for a community that's watched this pattern repeat for too long. We're creating a legitimate platform with elite standards: professional competition, media exposure, and pathways to NBL1 and beyond.

From Off Season Runs, To A Movement

It started with a group of elite local athletes coming together for high-level pickup runs during Tasmania's off-season. That spark became momentum, and the Tassie Summer Slam was born.
The league evolved quickly. A structured draft system was introduced, professional standards were lifted, and the competition began gaining serious traction.
The rebrand to Island Hustle marked a new chapter. A bold identity with greater purpose.
"Island" speaks to our roots. "Hustle" captures the identity of the game. Together, they form a brand grounded in place, purpose and passion
